This is a calculator to convert power values to energy (or work). Type the value for the
power (in Watt) into the field above the top of the table. If the desired time intervall is
not in the table, you may change either the min- or the hour-value. Click on the
"calculate" button. Read the result in the table.
Use the "reset" button to reset your calculation.
Example: What is the energy needed for 15 minutes at a power of 120 W.
Type "120" into the field for the power.
Click on the "calculate" button and read the result in the table
(108 kJ or 25.795 kcal, respectively).
Remarks:
- All results have been rounded to 5 significant digits.
- Large and small numbers are written exponentially. As example
2.3e5 = 2.3⋅105 = 230000 or
4.5e-5 = 4.5⋅10-5 = 0.000045.
- There is no warranty for the conversion. Cactus2000 is not
responsible for damage of any kind caused by wrong results.
- Please send an email if you have suggestions or if you would like to see more
conversions to be included.
