This is a special converter for chemical energy units which frequently appear in physical-chemical calculations. Examples for such energy values are the enthalpy, the free energy or the activation energy.

2. order rate constant | for bimolecular reactions |
Type the energy you want to convert into the field, behind which you find the the unit. Click on any empty space in the window or on the "calculate" button. Read the result in the other fields. Use the "reset" button to reset your calculation. Move the mouse over a unit or click on it to read its full name.
Example: You want to convert an activation energy of 40 kJ/mol into the value EA/R. Type "40" into the "kJ/mol" field. Click on the "calculate" button or any free space of the window. Read the result in the "E/R" field (4810.9 K).
