With this calculator you can calculate the density ρ of a body with a given mass m and a given volume V. Calculations vice versa are also possible.

Usage:
Always choose the correct unit in the corresponding pull-down-menu
before you type a value.
Type the given values into the corresponding fields.
After a mouse click on any free space of the window or the
"calculate"-button the calculation is performed.
For the volume you may either type the side lengths of a cuboid to calculate the volume,
or you type the volume and the side length of a cube is calculated.
The fields with the input quantities have a light green background, the background
of the output quantities is colored pink.
For another calculation with a value that has been calculated before, click on the
radio button in front of the value. The line with this quantity will be recolored
light green and become input value for the next calculation. The calculation is
always performed with the two quantities changed last.
Click on the "reset"-button to reset the calculation.
Example:
A tile from cellular concrete has the side lengths 59.9 cm * 29.9 cm * 17.5 cm
and its mass is 19.92 kg. What is the density of this tile and what is the mass
of half a cubic meter of this material?
After you have chosen the correct units,
type the length, width and height of the tile (59.9, 29.9, 17.5) into the corresponding fields.
After the next mouseclick, the volume already is calculated (31.343 l).
Now type the mass (19.92 kg).
After the next mouse click on any free space of the window or the
"calculate"-button you can read the value of the density (e.g. 0.636 g/cm³).
Now click on the radio button in front of the density value to use it
for the next calculation. Now type a volume of 0.5 m³.
After the next mouse click you see the next result (e.g. 317.78 kg).
In the pull-down menu for the mass unit you can also choose another unit
(e.g. 0.318 t).
